Sue Coccia
American Endangered Wildlife Artist
A childhood encounter with a dying captive orca set Sue on a 30-year mission to protect endangered wildlife through art. Her intricate pen-and-ink compositions reveal something other artists miss: complete ecosystems within each animal – the prey they hunt, the weather they endure, the cultural symbols that honor them.
Every piece is entirely hand-drawn using Micron pens (never digital), combining formal training from the Burnley School for Professional Art with personal encounters with wildlife across the Galapagos, Ecuador, and Australia. Her work represents more than animals – it's nature's interconnected web made visible, with proceeds supporting the species that inspire it.

Fighting to Protect Our Orcas & Salmon
The Southern Resident orcas (killer whales) of Puget Sound, Washington are starving. Chinook salmon make up 80% of their diet – salmon that journey 900 miles from the Pacific Ocean to spawn in the mountain streams of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
Four outdated dams on the Snake River are blocking their path. Fewer salmon means fewer orcas. It's that simple, and that devastating.
Since 1996, Sue has partnered with conservation organizations like Orca Network and Save Our Wild Salmon fighting to breach these dams and restore these salmon runs.
Every purchase helps fund this fight.
